AND TITANS ARE KIND OF A THING. JUST AS SHAPER VALTA SUSPECTED
AND LYRIUM IS THE BLOOD OF TITANS
Which is why red lyrium is able to happen.
Iona and her companions find their way to the Wellspring.
Where they fight the Guardian at the lyrium heart.
Shaper Valta’s exposure to the lyrium energy when the Guardian activates has altered her, and she remains behind to investigate further.
Later, Iona discovers that both Renn’s body is missing and that the passage to the Wellspring has been sealed up

Corypheus is pissed off that Iona and her Inquisition keep fucking thwarting him
Iona races to beat Corypheus to the Temple of Mythal and the Well of Sorrows (What Pride Has Wrought)

Iona and her companions battle their way through the Arbour Wilds.
Battling alongside allies as they make their way towards the Temple.
At the entrance to the Temple Corypheus and Samson as well as some of their forces are facing down sentinel elves.
Corypheus sets off a trap and seems to die
Iona cannot help but explore the Temple as they attempt to make their way inside.
FUCKING PUZZLES.
Samson sets more of his followers on you as he hops into a chasm he cut into the Temple as a shortrcut.
Now comes the choice between following them through the shortcut or taking the slower route that’s blocked by elven rituals.
Naturally Iona does the elven rituals; she refuses to treat the Temple of Mythal with anything less than complete and utter respect.
Once the rituals are complete and they make their way through, Iona and her companions are confronted by Abelas.
Abelas offers Iona an alliance
Which she accepts.
Morrigan fucks off to get to the Well faster once Abelas announces that he will not let the Well be despoiled.
Along the path to the Well there are runes revealed by veilfire; all involving ancient elven writing
Iona confronts Samson.
And thanks to Dagna’s rune, she’s able to destroy his armour.
At the Well of Sorrows, Iona persuades Abelas to allow her to drink from it.
And so Iona drinks from the Well of Sorrows.
Corypheus rolls up to the Well and he is PISSED when he realizes what happened.
He attacks, and Iona and her companions flee through the eluvian back to Skyhold.
THERE IS NOW A PLAN FOR DEFEATING CORYPHEUS

Morrigan wishes to speak to Iona (The Final Piece)

Iona goes to meet Morrigan by the eluvian.
When she gets there Leliana tells her that Morrigan took off through the eluvian in pursuit of her son, Kieran.
So of course Iona heads off after them.
Instead of leading to the Crossroads, the eluvian leads to the Fade.
Which makes three times she’s wandered through the Fade, now.
Meeting up with Morrigan, the two of them search for Kieran.
Turns out he heard Flemeth calling to him through the mirror.
When Flemeth shows up Morrigan attacks her; Iona stops her.
Flemeth is a vessel for the elven goddess Mythal. SURPRISE, MORRIGAN.
She offers Morrigan a deal. When Morrigan offers herself in place of her son, Flemeth instead just removes the Old God soul from him.
Flemeth also infodrops that Corypheus’ Archdemon ISN’T an Archdemon, but instead a high dragon corrupted by red lyrium and infused with a part of Corypheus’ own power; that’s also how he keeps coming back from the fucking dead.
Flemeth offers them a challenge.
If Iona defeats the Guardian of Mythal, she will be able to use the Guardian in the battle against Corypheus.
She does, of course.
Having tamed the Guardian, the dragon flies off and they return through the eluvian to Skyhold

The final battle approaches
One last romantic moment before the battle?
Corypheus, with his plan in ruins and his followers having gotten their asses kicked by the Inquisition, makes one last ditch effort to not fail (Doom Upon All the World)

Back at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, Corypheus uses the Orb of Destruction and opens the Breach again
He challenges Iona to one last battle, of course.
There’s a bit of banter back and forth and then he calls in his dragon. The Guardian of Mythal intercepts said dragon, leaving Iona free to fight Corypheus.
The battle leads further into the ruins, as Corypheus teleports away and Iona gives chase.
In the end, Iona and the Inquisition are triumphant, ripping the Orb from his hand with the Anchor, before sealing the Breach and hurling Corypheus into the Fade.
Solas leaves

CELEBRATING ENSUES
Inquisition and life post-Corypheus happens (Epilogue shit? Epilogue shit)
Some time later (once they figure out how to manage it) Iona and Percy take a trip to Exandria.
